National Apprenticeship Week 2025

The National Apprenticeship week for 2025 is themed ‘Skills for Life’.
Look out via Social Media for what’s going on by searching the hashtags #skillsforlife and #naw2025. You can also use those hashtags for anything you are doing which you’d like the business, education & skills community to see.

Apprenticeships are not just for new starters but can be undertaken by those already employed and needing to upskill to enhance their impact in their existing role and ultimately to lay the foundations for promotion.

Employer's Forum
- Understanding Business Apprenticeships

11th February @ 10am - 11.30am

Suzanne Hodnett, Swarm Training
will be chairing a panel of experts discussing business apprenticeships and how they support a business to grow in a very affordable way. We will be looking at:

- who and how the practical delivery of the learning is done
- accessing the funding, how much and how to do it
- getting the actual skills application happening in the business
- the value it has been bringing to employers

On the panel will be our now-graduated Marketing apprentice, Rachel Lawrence, and Market Research apprentice, Olivia Podmore, to pose questions to and also Martin Morrell from Anglian Home Improvements, an experienced apprentice employer. Martin will give you lots of insight into how it has worked successfully for their business with some tips to get the best out of the system.
