Swarm receives accreditation from the Market Research Society
Swarm Training has now become an MRS accredited training centre which means our training meets the rigorous standards for the provision and delivery of courses leading to MRS qualifications. (update: the accreditation has just been renewed (February 2025) and it is now our sister company, Swarm Bluewater, who are the accredited centre and who deliver the course)
The Market Research Society (MRS) is the UK professional body for research, insight and analytics. They recognise 5,000 individual members and over 500 accredited Company Partners in over 50 countries who are committed to delivering outstanding insight. As the regulator, the MRS promotes the highest professional standards throughout the sector via the MRS Code of Conduct.
Swarm will be delivering the MRS Advanced Certificate which is run as a stand alone course or can be done as a follow on to the Market Research Apprenticeship. If you are taking the course as a follow on to the Apprenticeship, you won’t need to do the Integrated Assignment element of the assessment if you achieved a Distinction in the Apprenticeship. This means you only have to work towards and pass the exam to achieve the qualification!
The MRS Advanced Certificate is the fastest growing, degree-level professional qualification for the research sector. The qualification enables candidates to develop a clear practical understanding of the principles underpinning all stages in the research process, and to develop the skills required to enable them to design and carry out key research tasks. As such, it enables candidates to select appropriate approaches and tools based on a clear understanding of the research problem and the objectives of any associated programme of research.
